Find Me in a Tree

I always speak fondly of my relationship with inanimate objects.  The fondness is an extension of my relationship with living objects like people, plants, and TREES!  I love me some trees!  I can’t name just one thing, its  a bunch of things. I feel like trees are silent witnesses to the recording of life.  They are wise. They are ancient.  They have such endurance.  They are grounded and strong.   They have roots.  They are connected to something bigger.  They look really cool.  They grow.  Their leaves can be evergreen or change colors. They protect themselves.  They provide shade.  They provide shelter. They are landmarks. They re-generate.  Even when they are destroyed, they turn into mulch and  paper, which can be recycled.

Over the years, I’ve turned into a good ole fashioned tree hugger.  No matter how old I get, I hope I’ll always be able to semi-climb one.  I feel like they can transfer energy.  Touching a tree is one of my favorite ways to ground.

I have severe allergies, and there is only so much exposure to them I can handle.  Living in NC is the most beautiful lush green oasis of trees.  It is also unkind and not friendly to my sinus cavity.  All that having been said, I seldom let it stop me from loving on a tree.

On any random outdoor adventure, you’re likely to find me, in a tree.  It’s the happiest of places I’ll be.

Wishing you abundance always!
