The Falling Pivot

The Falling Pivot

Fall is my favorite season.

It is what feeling in love looks like.   It makes my creativity come alive and my soul dance.  The winds blow.  The leaves paint the landscape with joy.  Some people lose their minds over pumpkins and pumpkin spice.   The night skies are crystal clear and brilliant.  The moon glows.  The stars illuminate the universe.  There is magic in the atmosphere.

As the earth turns, it can also bring with it the unexpected.  This fall has been tough.  I’m in a pivot. The great thing is that I’m headed in a new direction.  The uncomfortable thing of a pivot is you don’t know the trajectory and you’re starting over.

It has felt more like things falling.

We most often think of things falling apart.

But things can fall into place as well.

No matter which way you look at it, ½ full or ½ empty, things must fall. This is the pivot.

So with a grateful heart, I accept my new assignments with gratitude and joy.

I will allow the abundance to flood me with joy, prosperity, and peace.  The “allowing” is the hardest part.  I like to know the trajectory and the exact coordinates of the plan.  That is not how life works.  The bible says that God's ways are not our ways… People also say when we make plans, God laughs.

So, here I am asking to be taken seriously in the most loving way.  Allowing it to be, and that abundance flood me in this falling pivot.  In this my favorite season.

Here is a poem I wrote today.

If you find yourself falling apart

May you rediscover the joy in the depths of your heart.

As the winds blow and things fall into place,

May you keep a bright smile on your face.

Happy Fall Yall!

Abundance Always -Bliss
