A few weeks ago I started listening to replays of Alessia Cara.
I really respect her lyrics.
She talks so much of mental health and the tug of war to be well. Her lyrics are universal and impacts us all.
I remember the first time I listened to her lyrics was 🎶Find me where the wild things are.🎶
This song made my soul levitate and dance. She got me. I got her lyrics.
As a Poet, I am always compelled by great lyrics.
It is the magic that makes the stars sparkle at night. It is the divine light within shared with others.
It is one reason I'm a country music fan. The artist tell relatable stories in songs.
As I listened to Alessia, this song played.

The lyrics and melody are simple. The message is transparent and clear. Life can get so messy and murky. We find it hard to be honest with ourselves. It is so beautiful to be seen and known and wholly accepted while loved. It is almost to perfect for a human to do. Maybe it's something only God can manage.
For those of us who have that 1 in a billion kind of love, know you're super blessed.
We all want this kind of safety in love. The kind that grounds us and is sure.
So this week on Valentines Day, I wish you this kind of love. May it lift you up, swirl you around and make you smile.
Happy Valentines Day. 2024!
❤️Bliss
