Pulping
Speaking of weight, I’ve gained a few pounds this calendar
year. In a tiny effort to adjust towards
health priorities, I decided to start Pulping.
Its the gray area between eating fruits and veggies and juicing.
To juice or not to juice is the question. Big time juicers cost a big time price tag. I don’t really want to pay that and I’m not
fully persuaded. This could just be a
summer of 2023 thing. (lol)
So we landed somewhere in the middle. Meet the Nutribullet.
Now, I’m incredibly late to the party, as this appliance took the world by storm ages ago. However, I am here for a revival. It is the unadulterated truth. Weather you are juicing, pulping, or smoothing, it’s an easy way to accommodate the lifestyle pivot, at an affordable price.
My goal is to eat cleaner, add the veggies, and accomplish reasonable
meal replacement. Weight loss isn’t the
goal, but I do think it’s the right point to pivot me back to the gym and into
better, healthier, and sustainable routine.
I think it’s the most reasonable expectation for weight and dietary
management there was. It’s been an
adjustment to shopping for frozen fruits and veggies along with fresh fruits
and veggies.
For now, my staple go to is Apple, Celery, Cucumber, and Lemon. Its simple, light and refreshing.
My goal is to keep the pulp veggie heavy so there will be stomach
filling pulp. I understand that juicing
alone on fruits will make your sugar spike and have you hungry all the time.
It’s a different kind of meal prepping, but necessary to do
in advance because its not the type of thing that “excites me” it’s the type of
thing that is a practical progression of preventing food waste. Its also ensures that I actually consume the
appropriate amount of veggies. I’ve
admitted that it is really easy to avoid them completely if you aren’t willing
to consume them raw. Making salads take
time, and or the purchase of prepared foods. All the rest of the veggies
require cooking. This solves both of
these problems.
